Java Spring Boot Developer
Overview
SysMind is looking for an experienced Java Spring Boot Developer who can architect and build high-performance backend systems that power enterprise applications.
As part of our agile delivery teams, you will be responsible for developing robust microservices, integrating APIs, and optimizing systems for scalability and efficiency. This role is suited for engineers who enjoy problem-solving, value clean code practices, and excel at designing resilient, production-ready systems.
You’ll be contributing directly to key digital transformation projects, ensuring seamless integration and top-tier performance for our clients’ technology ecosystems.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices using Java Spring Boot.
- Implement secure, scalable, and maintainable backend architectures aligned with enterprise-grade standards.
- Collaborate with front-end teams to integrate APIs and optimize data flow between systems.
- Work on database design and optimization (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.) to ensure efficient storage and retrieval.
- Implement unit and integration testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito, etc.) to ensure high-quality code.
- Optimize application performance and troubleshoot latency, memory leaks, and other performance bottlenecks.
- Deploy applications using Docker and Kubernetes within cloud-native environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Participate in code reviews, enforce best practices, and mentor junior developers where needed.
- Work with DevOps teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines and automate deployment workflows.
- Document system designs, technical specifications, and implementation processes for ongoing maintenance.
